A fabulous VICTORIAN SILVER DOUBLE INKSTAND made by the well-known silversmiths Fenton Bros. Ltd in 1897.

Standing on a plain raised and shaped base, this superb Silver Inkstand has two silver mounted cut-glass square inkwells standing in elegant frames. To the centre is an elaborate carrying handle which hold the inkwells in place and closed.

All pieces including the nuts holding the frames and centre piece in place have matching hallmarks.

In excellent condition with little sign of use or wear, and free from any added engravings, monograms or initials, this beautiful Double Inkstand would look stunning in any setting.
