A superb quality VICTORIAN SILVER MOUNTED CLARET JUG made by the well-known silversmith William Comyns in 1900.
This stunning Cut Glass Claret Jug has a beautiful Sterling Silver Mount with hinged lid. The glass body is of bulbous reeded design with patterned segments. The silver mount is of plain form with an elegant, shaped handle.
This beautiful Jug is in excellent condition with no damage to the glass whatsoever and very little sign of wear or use which is unusual given this is now over 120 years old.
A fabulous high quality Antique Silver Mounted Claret Jug which would look superb in any setting.
