A superb SOLID SILVER PILL BOX made by the well-known silversmiths of Henry Matthews and assayed in Chester in 1896.

This lovely Heart Shaped Silver Pill Box has an a floral and scroll embossed design on a hinged lid with a blank cartouche to the centre. The base is undecorated.

The interior still retains the original gilt coating – a sign of real quality. 

In excellent condition with no holes or splits, no added engravings etc. and with a strong hinge to the lid, this wonderful Silver Pill Box would make a lovely gift (comes boxed) or would add to any collection.
