A VICTORIAN SOLID SILVER BOOKMARK made in a novelty trowel shape which has a slot in it so that the trowel can be slipped over a page in a book, marking it for you. The bookmark has a silver handle and the bookmark has not been engraved with a previous owner’s initials or family monogram.
The trowel shaped body has been impressed with a full set of English solid sterling silver hallmarks (handle is also hallmarked) and the bookmark is in excellent condition despite being over 125 years old.
This Superb Victorian book or page marker would make a superb addition to any collection or a gift that can still be used today.
