This fabulous SOLID SILVER TRINKET BOX was made by the well-known and sought after silversmiths of Mappin & Webb in 1912.
Raised on three fleur-de-lys legs and of circular form, the hinged lid has a superb engine turned decoration and a central blank circular cartouche.
Inside the lid retains its original gilt coating – a sign of real quality – and the box has its original black velvet lining.
This is an outstanding, quality piece that is in such excellent condition despite being over 110 years old that it appears never to have been used.
Condition:
Used / Excellent
There is no damage and no repairs.
