This superb quality WILLIAM IV SOLID SILVER SNUFF BOX was made by the well-known and sought-after silversmith Nathaniel Mills and assayed in Birmingham in 1834.

Of rectangular form with cast and chased scrolling foliage border and engine turned sides. Inside, this fabulous piece retains the original gilt coating – a sign of real quality.

In excellent condition with no obvious wear and no added engravings, monograms etc., this is an exceptional quality item which would enhance any silver collection.
