This stunning VICTORIAN SILVER TEA CADDY was made by the well-known and sought-after silversmith, William Comyns in 1891.
Of rectangular box form with circular pull off lid, this lovely Tea Caddy has a beautiful all-over repousse scroll and mask decoration and is free from any added inscriptions, monograms or initials. There is a blank shield-shaped cartouche on all sides that could be used to personalise this lovely piece.
In superb condition with very little signs of wear or usage, this unusual and lovely Caddy would make a fabulous addition to any collection or would make an excellent gift.
